My desktop is broken again. It was in the technician store back in September/October for 6 weeks, they placed a new mother board and a new hard disk (250 GB). The hard disk is full of errors now and once it was placed as part of a repair the guarantee only works for 3 months and…the repair guarantee finished on January 14th.
My BIL is the person taking care of the computer repair now and he told me to buy a new hard disk. As we don’t know if the CPS is causing the hard disk failure, he advised me to buy a new one too. Although very short of money my only option to have my computer working was to buy a new hard disk (160Gb - that’s enough for me) and a new CPS. So today, during my lunch break I went to the electronic shop and bought those accessories. Since I bought the computer 2 years and a few months ago I always had problems with it.
I hope to have it back till the end of the week but I can’t pressure my BIL because he’s doing the favor of repairing it for free.
